Fund Transfer

To use DEX, you must transfer funds to the Binance Wallet to use the DEX exchange. Unlike a regular exchange wallet address, the Binance Wallet is custodial but has the advantage of allowing anonymous trading.

There are three ways to transfer funds.

1. Transfer from Binance CEX
2. Purchase Tokens with Card (Only possible on mobile)
3. Transfer Tokens from Other Wallets and Exchanges

However, you cannot proceed with the purchase and transfer steps completely anonymously. It only means that it is recorded where the funds went, but not who traded how much within it.

How to Trade on DEX

The method for trading on DEX is the same as the spot trading method on the Binance CEX exchange.

If there is a coin you want, you can select it from above and proceed.

Trading Settings

Once you have found the coin you want to trade, you need to set up the settings. The method is the same, but because it is essentially all meme coins, sudden sharp increases and drops are very frequent.

Therefore, the basic settings are slightly different.

Amount is the type of coin you hold. You must note that it is traded by the number of each coin, not displayed as USDT.

In the Buy window, you can purchase simply by clicking or typing the amount and clicking Buy. However, the problem is that due to the nature of meme coins, slippage is very frequent and severe, and the transaction itself incurs a gas fee.

If you click the > under Preset, a screen like the one below appears.

Gas price is the cost per unit of gas set for a blockchain transaction. Setting a higher gas price encourages miners or validators to prioritize the transaction, resulting in faster transaction processing.

The default slippage is set to 2.24%, and the maximum means the transaction will be executed even if the slippage reaches up to 20%.

You can set the values differently for three types, and you can set them differently for both buying and selling. Please remember the setting values well so you don't get confused when trading.

Transaction execution speed is accelerated depending on the network fee setting. Setting it blindly high is not necessarily good.

How to Sell

When you sell, you click Sell and can sell the number of tokens you hold. If you do not have any tokens, you cannot sell.

Meaning of Futures Trading

Futures trading is called "Futures" in English. As the English meaning suggests, futures trading is characterized by predicting the price at a specific future time, where you gain a profit if the price at the expiry date is higher than your expected market price, and incur a loss if it is lower.

Many people engage in futures trading because leverage is possible. Leverage is the function that allows you to buy and sell several times more than the amount of money you actually have.

For example, if you have 1,000 USD and 20x leverage is possible, you can purchase 20,000 USD worth. Therefore, it has the advantage that even people with small amounts of money can significantly increase their profits.

Binance Futures Risk Level

While profits can be significantly increased, futures trading also carries considerable risk.

For example, let's say a person with 100 USDT buys the entire Ethereum coin using 20x leverage. Then, they can purchase 2,000 USDT worth of Ethereum.

Creating a Futures Account

When you go to 'Futures' on Binance, you will see a screen like the one above. Immediately click 'Open Now'.

Binance Futures Trading Interface

The Binance Futures trading screen is similar to spot trading but has a few additional features. You can select the coin pair to trade at the top of the screen, and the chart and order book are displayed in the center.

How to Trade Binance Futures

Select Trading Pair

Select the coin you want to trade on Binance. Beginners should start with major coins with high liquidity and relatively low volatility, such as Bitcoin (BTCUSDT) or Ethereum (ETHUSDT).

Set Leverage

Select the desired multiplier in the leverage settings at the top of the screen. The default is 10x. You can change it to your desired multiplier.

Select Margin Mode

If you are a beginner, select Isolated Margin mode and set the margin amount to be used for that specific trade. It is safe to start with about 5-10% of your total funds.

Cross

It refers to using all the funds in your futures wallet as margin.

Regardless of the amount used for the position, you can protect the position even with a negative return of over $100\%$. It is generally used when the position size itself is very large or for high leverage.

Isolated

This mode automatically liquidates the position if the amount of the position you took reaches -100%. The money in your wallet other than the position itself does not become margin.

What is Binance Margin?

Margin, also called collateral, is the guarantee deposit required before engaging in leverageable trades like Binance futures trading or margin trading.

The margin varies depending on the size of the position, and the larger the position, the larger the margin.

Let's take an example. If you use 5x leverage, the profit is multiplied by 5, but the risk also increases by 5 times. If losses become too large, the possibility of liquidation increases.

If the loss becomes too large, the Binance exchange forces liquidation, and the amount they require you to deposit in advance for this forced liquidation is essentially the margin.

What are Binance Options?

Options are derivative trading products that allow you to achieve large profits with a small amount of money. Binance has launched options in the crypto market (such as Bitcoin) based on the same method used in stock or commodity exchanges (securities firms, etc.). Here are explanations for parts that might be confusing:

First, with futures trading, the loss increases the more the price moves against the position you've taken. It is certain that you will incur a loss the more it moves in the opposite direction.

However, options trading gives you the right to buy (or sell) at that price. So, if the price moves against you and you cannot profit, you can simply say, 'I won't buy that,' and only lose the initial premium amount paid.

In other words, the downside (maximum loss) is fixed.

The disadvantage is that this premium cost is fixed. While futures trading is possible with a very small amount (around 5 USD), options trading is structured per 1 contract, requiring payment of 1,715 USD per contract in the example above.

In expiring futures, there should normally be time value. However, futures traded on crypto exchanges generally do not have an expiration date, so time value does not exist. Conversely, options must have a set expiration date for the trade to be completed. Therefore, time value is added when the option is issued, making the premium price more expensive, but the premium price gets cheaper closer to expiration.

After the loan is completed, you can directly adjust the LTV (Adjust LTV) and Repay in the [All Orders] menu.

What is Hedge Mode?

'Hedge' means a precaution or a fence, and when used in finance, 'hedge' is used as a precaution to prevent risk.

When Taking a Long Position in Futures

If you have entered a long position in futures, but the short-term volatility appears rough, you can temporarily 'lock' the volatility by briefly adding a short position on the same symbol. The idea is to create a temporary neutral state (Delta 0) and then close one side when the direction becomes clear again.

In this way, in a situation where you should have a loss (a negative PnL), the profit from the short position offsets the loss, preserving your capital. If the price returns to the entry point in this state, there is no loss other than the trading fees. If the price rises again, you can aim for the long position to turn profitable again after liquidating the short position at the entry point.

Funding Fee and Basis Carry Strategy

The second is a carry strategy using the funding fee (cost of funding) and basis (the difference between futures and spot prices). If you simultaneously hold a spot long position + a futures short position (or the opposite configuration in COIN-M), profit occurs when the basis normalizes, regardless of market direction.

Especially when funding is skewed to one side for a long period, Hedge Mode allows for fine-tuning, such as creating a two-legged structure to maintain the direction of funding receipt while eliminating exposure to the unfavorable side. Only averaging down in one direction is mentally taxing. With Hedge Mode, it's possible to do mini-market making where you gradually build up a long position while simultaneously realizing profits from short positions on a tick-by-tick basis. Does Using Hedge Mode Mean Zero Risk?

No, it doesn't.

First, Hedge Mode does not mean the risk is '0'. There are costs involved, such as fees for taking hedge positions, funding fees, and slippage. If you rely solely on direction neutrality and leave the account untouched for too long, it will be slowly eroded.

Secondly, in the case of high leverage, the market often tilts heavily to one side, causing the stop on the other side to be triggered simultaneously, resulting in unintended unidirectional exposure.

I will explain the Binance Stop Loss setting based on the PC version.

You can enter the desired settlement price in the Stop Loss window on the right side of the Binance trading screen.

When viewing the price entry window, there are two items: Mark and Last.

Last means the most recently executed price.

Mark means the price set to prevent unnecessary liquidation. It was created to prevent losses when someone manipulates the coin price, causing a sudden change.

You should set the Stop Loss with the idea that 'I will liquidate my position if it drops to this point.'

For example, if you are trading Bitcoin and the current price is 110,000 USD, and you are willing to withstand up to 105,000 USD, you would place a Stop Loss at 105,000 USD.

Take Profit (TP)

TP also means automatic profit confirmation at the market price. The usage method is the same as Stop Loss, and most exchanges use the same method.

Like Stop Loss, you can write the profit amount you desire. If the current Bitcoin price is 110,000 USD, you would set the TP with the thought that 'If it rises to 120,000 USD, I will take profit at that point.'

Personally, I believe that as your assets grow, you should use multiple exchanges. Therefore, it is recommended to use several exchanges if possible. For those who are concerned about missing out on VIP benefits, most exchanges now recognize that VIPs do not usually use just one exchange; they offer benefits at their own exchange if you submit proof of VIP status from another exchange.

For example, if you submit proof of Binance VIP status to Bybit, Bybit may grant you the same or a higher VIP level.

What are the Differences Between Binance and Bybit?

The differences between Binance Exchange and Bybit Exchange are summarized in the table below.

Security

Binance

Binance As the world's largest exchange, Binance invests the most in security infrastructure.

It operates the SAFU (Secure Asset Fund for Users), a user protection fund worth 1 billion USD, to compensate for damages from hacking or system failures.

It provides features such as 2-Factor Authentication (2FA), Fingerprint/Face ID, and withdrawal address whitelisting for all login and withdrawal operations.

It meets CCSS (Level 2) certification and ISO/IEC 27001 security standards.

However, due to its large size, it becomes a major target for regulatory bodies,and service has been temporarily restricted in some regions (US, parts of Europe).

Bybit: Ranks 3rd to 5th globally among exchanges, with a very high market share, especially in the derivatives (futures) market. ading volume is approximately 20% to 30% of Binance's level.

What is the Binance Security Key?

You can usually log in to Binance using Google OTP or other methods. The Security Key is a backup key used when OTP login is difficult due to your phone being damaged or lost.

It is not about whales, institutions, or related business corporations.

Furthermore, even if an artificial intelligence is given logic based on human criteria,

If an average person can create such logic, they would also be good at "manual trading."

If you are not good at manual trading, auto trading will be no different.

If you don't have a strategy to implement a logic for a good winning rate, auto trading will be the same.

I am a person who makes a living in the current IT industry.

The specifics of my work cannot be detailed for privacy reasons.

I first got into futures trading with coins and spent a lot of time on auto trading with APIs on Binance, etc.

I implemented many algorithms for entering and

closing positions at appropriate spots using charts and secondary indicators.

I think I applied all the auto trading techniques available online, such as volatility breakout, moving averages, RSI, MACD, etc. As the number of trading algorithms increased, it became difficult to prioritize those algorithms.

Above all, my judgment is that it is impossible to cope with market volatility unless it's an artificial intelligence.

I even think artificial intelligence would find it impossible.

I believe AI can do things that humans are good at even better,

but it doesn't necessarily do things that humans are bad at better.

When you trade manually,

your stop loss often gets hit right before the price moves in your favor, right?

It's even worse with auto trading, seriously, hahahahaha.

In conclusion, I did make a profit based on my standards, in terms of crypto.

However, the effort involved in maintenance (algorithm updates, etc.) and server management, etc., was not worth it compared to manual trading.

And the premise of futures trading is fundamentally using leverage,

but the point is that auto trading must be operated extremely conservatively.

operating at a maximum of about 30%

So, in the end, futures trading for me settled down to manual trading, chart trading, and scalping or day trading.

I am satisfied with taking profits when they are available and getting out.

Private services are a total disaster and a scam, so just ignore them all and do auto trading on Kiwoom.

You have to create the strategy yourself, but you don't have to worry about the coding because they help you with everything once you explain the strategy.

As you do it, you'll start to see the code, and eventually, you'll be able to handle most things on your own.

When you create a strategy, the positions where trades occur—buy, sell, close, etc.—

are marked, and the report shows the results in that form.

1. Then, you would constantly modify the strategy while looking at the report.

So, I tried live trading with data that showed good results.

But the results were completely different from the report, resulting in huge losses.

I found the reason was that the report didn't account for fees + slippage (tick loss upon market price liquidation), so the report showed profit,

but due to the monstrous fees, the account kept losing money.

2. So, I set up the fee and slippage settings and tried to find a strategy, but finding a profitable one is extremely difficult.

The strategies widely known on the market that you know will absolutely not be profitable in the mid-to-long term. I've tried them all.

Even with the same strategy, some products work and some don't, so it's better to stick to just one product and master it intensely.

Within that product, only specific minute charts work, so you must select just one product and one minute chart and master it intensely.

I focused solely on completing the auto trading strategy, working 24/7, even on weekends.

3. One day, a strategy with a $90\%$ winning rate appeared, as if I'd won the lottery. I was extremely cautious because the losses from testing auto trading for several months had been huge.

I verified it for short-term, mid-term, and long-term, and to check if the report matched the live trading, I kept running it with 1 contract of Mini Gold for a month.

4. Result: The average winning rate for July was 89.57%, and 1 contract of Mini Gold was close to 6 contracts.

The one-month live trading test and the report were almost identical, and in fact, the live trading result was even better.

The fees are fixed, so I set them accurately, and by setting the slippage generously to about 3 ticks, the live trading result was much better.

5. The picture above shows the live trading results for today from 7 AM to 3 PM.

30 trades, 27 wins, 3 losses, a 90% winning rate. The 3 losses were actually profitable trades upon total liquidation, with one or two contracts losing during fractional entry, so the winning rate is essentially 100% for today.

The report calculates the annual return against the initial capital by calculating the rate of return, period, variables, and various factors.

6. Naturally, the return rate is very good since the winning rate is almost $100\%$, but that is the simple interest rate.

It is calculated based on a fixed number of contracts. In live trading, I have set it to automatically increase the number of contracts, so I can expect a much larger profit than that.

7. I plan to spend my next summer vacation chilling with Warren Buffett in the Maldives, sipping a Mojito.
8. The best part is that when I used to do international futures before, I had a crazy sense of fatigue, staying up almost 24 hours a day, Monday to Saturday.

Now, I just turn on the program at 6:25 AM, hit run, and I go fishing, hang out, sleep, drink, go to the sauna, and do everything else

As soon as the apartment in Songdo I inherited sells, I'm moving to Oknyeon-dong and putting all the difference into this.

9. Study auto trading unconditionally. It makes your body comfortable, and since your emotions, condition, and physical state are not reflected at all, it helps much more.
10. I started using auto trading for stocks about 10 years ago, so adaptation was easy for me, but I don't know about you.

Anyway, you absolutely must learn it.

11. The warning is that you should never take it lightly and always be careful. I also lost a lot of money testing for several months.

Just use the signal and the report to evaluate your test results. You don't necessarily have to trade live; if you set up the report well, the result will be the same as live trading.

12. There are micro fees + 0.3 and main contract fees + 0.7, but you don't need to worry about them at all. Of course, the fees are high, but considering the few ticks you lose while hesitating during manual trading, it's not a waste at all.

How to Issue Binance API Key

1. Access the Binance site and log in.

2. Click the person icon on the top right, then click Account in the bottom menu.

3. Once inside, you will see API Management below Account in the left menu. Click it.

4. A warning window will pop up with information about the Binance API. Click on API key Terms of Use to read it once. Click I agree.

5. Click Create API on the top right.

IP Access Restrictions

• Unrestricted (Less Secure)
