What are Bitcoin options?

Bitcoin options are options trading on Bitcoin. In general, you can trade options on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB, Ripple, and Dogecoin, as well as some of the larger cryptocurrencies.

Also Understand your options firstshould be done. Please be aware of these things before you trade.

Here's the super quick summary.

1. An option is buying the right to ‘buy (or sell) at that price,’ like buying a house for sale.
2. The price you pay for that right is the premium.
3. Option buyers can only lose the premium price, but they can earn unlimited profits when they make a profit.
4. Conversely, the seller of an option earns the premium, but can lose an unlimited amount of money if the option goes into the red.
5. As a condition for this transaction to go through, there is a contract closing date. This is the expiration date.

In other words, an option is the act of buying or selling the right to buy a stock at a price that will be more or less than the price you bought it at by the expiration date.

Transferring assets after buying BTC/ETH

Options on OKX have a slightly unusual structure. It's a format where you trade based on the coin you want to trade.

So before you can trade, you need to buy BTC or ETH and transfer it to your trading wallet.

Buy Bitcoin or Ethereum (the coin you want to trade) with your USDT or USDC.

Go to the Options Trading screen

You will now be taken to the options trading screen.

Once you're there, click anything under the date.

You should then see the screen on the right, as shown below. Click the +.

You will automatically be taken to the transfer screen for that asset. Click Max, move the asset, and you're ready to trade.

Click the Start Trading Options button

When you first start trading options, you're not trading yet, and you see a button in the order book that says Start options trading. Click this button.

You can then press confirm without doing anything else and it will be activated.

It should look like the button below. Note: If you haven't verified your KYC yet, you won't be able to activate it.

Check the price and buy calls/puts

If you look at the expiry dates and click on the expiry date that you think will rise or fall within this period, you will see Calls / Puts as shown below.

Think of a call as a long position, and a put as a short position.

However, if you buy a call, you are only betting on the price going up, and if you buy a put, you are only betting on the price going down. If you want to see what the current price is in the order book, hover your mouse over the area where the order is located and the price will appear.

In the above situation, 0.0017 BTC is worth $153.34, which means you need $153 to buy a 0.0017 BTC option.

I buy the bit at the current out-of-the-money price of $90183 thinking it will go above $90250, as shown below.

Orderbook interface

Click on the BTC order in the order book on the right and it will be entered in Price(BTC) on the left.

In this state, you can enter an amount to buy or sell and it will automatically show you how much the premium is. You can buy or sell from this state and the trade will go through.

Setting the option trading unit

You can change the units when trading options. Enter settings.

Click Options Trading unit.

Here's what it looks like.

Crypto (cryptocurrency): Convert the position size to the underlying Amount of cryptocurrency(e.g., 0.1 BTC option).

Contracts (contract): Set the position size to Standard number of contracts set by the exchange(e.g., 10 Contracts).

Price-Adjusted Model (PA): Price adjustment modelsfor options. It uses a model that is adjusted to reflect market price volatility when calculating the value and risk of an option.

Black-Scholes Model (BS): Black-Shoulders Modelfor options. This is the most classic and famous mathematical model for theoretically pricing options. (This model often assumes market inefficiency, so variations of the model are often applied in real markets.)

If you're not familiar with options trading itself, set it to crypto / PA, which is the default setting.

Transfer from a spot wallet to a gift wallet

All deposited money is in the spot wallet. In OKX, the spot wallet is labeled Funding. Click Assets at the bottom and then Transfer in the middle.

Make sure that Transfer is set to Funding to Trading, click Max, click Confirm, and the money will be transferred to your futures trading account.

How to Trade OKX Futures

First, click trade - Futures on OKX and select the coin you want to trade. I'm going to enter BTCUSDT, which is Bitcoin.

When you enter, you'll see the screen below. First, instead of asking you to agree to understand the risks of futures trading, OKX will instead ask you to change your trading mode directly. If you look at the green bar in the bottom right corner, you'll see a button that says Switch account mode to trade.

You will see the account modes as shown below, all of them default to Spot mode, and you need to change the mode to Futures mode or Advanced mode to be able to trade futures. Let's select Futures mode.

After selecting Futures mode and clicking Switch, you'll see the screen below.

It says that you are upgrading from a spot trading account to a futures trading account. Click Confirm.

You will see the settings screen as shown below.

OKX Pre-Trade Settings

Here's how it all works, and if you're not familiar with all the features, just read the bolded text.

• Theme (Theme): Click the button to toggle dark mode on/off.
• Account mode (account mode): You can switch back to spot/futures/advanced account mode at a later date, just as you switched from spot to futures account mode earlier.
• Position mode (Position mode): You are currently in one-way mode, which means you can only trade in one direction at a time. To enable two-way trading (hedge mode), click to change the mode.
• Futures trading unit (Futures trading unit): This sets the trading unit for futures trading, which can also be changed in the order book.
  • USD␤-margined: Set the trading unit for futures contracts that use margin in a stablecoin such as USDT or USDC.
    • Crypto (cryptocurrency): Displays the position size in terms of the amount of cryptocurrency that is the underlying asset (e.g. 0.1 BTC).
    • USDⓈ (USDⓈ): Displays the position size in USD value (e.g. $7,000 USD).
    • Contracts: Displays the position size in a standard number of contracts set by the exchange (e.g. 10 Contracts).
  • 2. Crypto-margined: Sets the trading unit for futures contracts (typically COIN-M futures) that use volatile cryptocurrencies such as BTC or ETH as margin.
    • Crypto (cryptocurrency): Displays the position size in terms of the amount of cryptocurrency that is the underlying asset (e.g. 0.1 BTC).
    • USD (USD): Displays the position size in USD value (e.g. $7,000 USD).
    • Contracts: Displays the position size in a standard number of contracts set by the exchange (e.g. 10 Contracts).
• Options trading unit: This is described in the How to Trade OKX Optionswhich we'll cover in more detail in the next section.
• USD-M settlement currency: All USD contracts will be settled in the currency set here. This can only be updated if there are no open positions or orders. USDT cannot be set.
• Spot cost price type: This is the method used for spot trading, which we'll cover in more detail in the Spot trading method.
• Pay trading fees in quote currency: This is also a feature used for spot trading, so we'll cover it in detail in How to trade spot.

Preferences (Preferences)

• Trade notifications (Trade notifications): Set up notifications to close a trade, schedule a buy or sell, etc.
• Trade confirmations (This is where you set whether the trader should be prompted for confirmation before making a mistake or placing an incorrect order. This can reduce mistakes, but is not suitable for fast trading such as scalping.
• Keyboard shortcuts (Keyboard shortcuts): This is where you set up keyboard shortcuts.
• 24h change & chart time (24 hour change & chart time): Don't touch these if you can help it.
• Cooling-off period: This is a window that allows traders to set a time limit to limit themselves if they are trading emotionally due to significant losses or wild swings. Once set, you will not be able to exit early, but you will be able to reorganize your open positions, such as by reducing your trade size or reducing your leverage.
• Self-trade prevention: Generally, you don't need to worry about this.
• Show liquidation price (Show Liquidation Price): Displays the price at which it will be liquidated.
• Click order book to input amount: This is a one-time or convenience feature, but you can use it if you want.

Futures Order Book UI/UX

Now let's do some actual trading, and the order book on the right-hand side is the most important because it contains all of the actual important features.

First, the two most important settings are at the top.

Isolation/Crossover Mode

Isolated is a mode where if you have a position, you will only lose the amount of your position if it goes against you.

For example, if you have a $100,000 long position with 10x leverage at $100,000, and the coin you're trading goes to -10%, it's actually -100% because you have 10x leverage, so you've lost $100,000, and that's it.

If you click on it, you'll see the Cross mode, which uses all the money in your futures wallet to maintain your position.

In the above situation, a cross-mode trade would have resulted in a loss of more than -1001 TP3T, so why use it? If you use very high leverage (say 100x), a move of only 11 TP3T would result in a loss of -1001 TP3T. So in this case, if you are confident in your position, you can use more margin to keep your position open even if the loss is bigger than your position.

Of course, you can also hold positions in cross mode and add margin later, but if you don't feel comfortable doing that all the time, just leave them in cross mode.

For beginners, we recommend using isolation mode whenever possible.

How to set leverage

The second is the leverage setting. If you click on 3x, you will see the screen below.

You can click to use a pre-determined leverage or enter your own. You can use up to 100x leverage, and while higher leverage means bigger profits, it can also mean bigger losses.

However, it will never drop below zero.

Set up your trading method

Limit is the limit price, also known as the maker. Market is the market price, also known as the taker. There are several functions, including TP/SL, Trigger, Trailing Stop, but the most commonly used are Limit and Market and Take Profit (TP)/Stop Loss (SL).

Let's start with the most commonly used limit and market prices.

A limit price is when you specify a price and your order will only be filled if it reaches that price. For example, if you go long on Bitcoin at $100,000, your order will only be filled if someone is willing to sell at $100,000. Fees tend to be lower than market prices.

So, for example, if the price of Bitcoin is $100,000 right now, and I sell at market price right now, I might get a bunch of trades at the same level, like $99,990 to $100,010. So, you're not going to get robbed at a perfectly accurate price, but you use it when you want to get out of a trade quickly. Use it to take advantage of spikes and dips, or to exit a position at the right time. Fees are usually double or more than the limit price.

Now, one of the most common things we use is stop loss and take profit, which are usually placed as a set. And a common misconception is that SL/TP are both sold at market price. It's not a limit trade, it's not a pending trade, it's a market trade, it's just that it automatically buys and sells at the market price when it hits that price.

In any case, SL is a schedule that indicates that I will stop trading when I reach a certain level of loss. TP is the opposite, indicating that I will stop trading when I reach a profit.

For example, if you're long Bitcoin at $100,000, you'd put a take profit (TP) at $101,000 and a stop loss (SL) at $99,000. Of course, since it's the market price, you may not get robbed at exactly that price, depending on the slippage or order volume at the time of the spike.

Amount price display

Below that, Amount is a number that indicates how much you want to trade, whether you want to trade in BTC, dollars, or Tether, and whether you want it to be displayed in Contracts.

For example, if you're trading Ethereum, if you trade with 1 BTC, you'll have a position worth 1 BTC. If the current price is $100,000, you'll have a $100,000 position.

For USDT, you can specify the dollar amount you want to trade. For example, if you want to trade $100, you can write $100.

The amount of contracts, or transactions per contract, varies depending on the coin being traded. This is the amount set by the exchange. The amount per contract changes depending on the price of the coin, and if you check the price per contract with 1x leverage, it looks like this.

A $3300 Ethereum contract is worth $110.

However, at the $92,000 level, one Bitcoin contract is worth $923.

Also, one contract of Solana, which is at $140, is at $46. So the amount per contract is arbitrarily set by the exchange, so you can't really say, ‘How much is the coin, and how much is one contract.

If you're a beginner, you can trade in USDT, which is easier to calculate the exchange rate.

How to short a long position and close a short position

Now let's actually make a buy.

I'm going long for $10,000, and my current leverage is 10x. I place the long order by clicking the Buy(Long) button with my money in the form of $1,000.

You'll then be prompted to confirm the price or order.

If you don't want to see the confirmation window, then click Don't show again. Click Confirm to place the order.

Once a position is filled, your position information will appear in Open positions, as shown below.

If you want to close the trade (close the position = liquidate), you can click Close all as shown below, or click Close separately for each position. Please note that if you choose to close your position this way, it will be liquidated at the market price.

If you want to close at your limit price, click Reduce-only to turn on only closing the position you have, not placing additional orders, and click the Sell(Short) button.

If you were short, you would have to do the opposite and click the Sell (short) button first to take the position and then turn on Reduce Only to buy (long).

25.11.14일 한달 경과 후 추가

제가 한가지 확인한 점은 위 실험을 시작하고 나서 한가지 간과한게 있었는데요.

추세가 하방으로 꺾이면서 롱포지션을 잡는 봇의 손실이 다음날부터 20%넘게 생겼습니다.

그래서 리플 트레이딩 봇으로 숏 5배 봇을 찾아서 다시 잡았습니다. 참고로 해당 봇은 수익률 1200%라고 적혀있었습니다.

보시면 지금 봇을 돌린지 거의 28일 18시간이 되었습니다. 결과는 24.68% 수익입니다. 한달 수익률이 700%라느니, 1200%라느니 하는 수익률과는 굉장히 멀고도 먼 처참한 수익률인데요. 단 이 수익률도 약간 문제가 있는데, 제가 이미 이전에 잡았던 비트 롱 봇에서 3달러 정도를 잃고 왔기 때문입니다.

그런데 제가 이 봇을 수익률만 보고 그냥 골랐었는데, 문제는 이게 Martingale 방식이었습니다.

그래서 수익률과 손실률이 엄청나게 큰데 문제는 시장이 숏방향이 아니어도 그냥 포지션잡고 무지성으로 거래를 해버린다는 겁니다.

최근 코인 시장이 계단식으로 하락하는데 하락했다가 다음날 올랐다가, 조금 횡보하다가 다시 하락하는 추세를 보이고 있습니다. 그냥 위에서 푸근하게 숏잡고 있었으면 계속 펀딩비도 받아먹으면서 수익일텐데 계속 샀다팔았다 하니까 수익이었다가 손실이었다가를 반복했습니다.

위는 수익이 난 것만 표시되었습니다. 손실은 하나도 표시를 안하네요 ㅡㅡ 미친놈들인가..

매일매일의 수익률은 아래와 같습니다.

급하락 후 상승하는 날엔 거의 손실률이 71%까지도 갔습니다.

아마 상승장에 이 봇을 잡고 있었으면 0이 되지는 않아도 크게 계속 손실을 봤을 것 같습니다.

그래서 총 결과는 오늘 하락을 마무리로 17달러를 벌었고 처음 시작은 37.81달러에서 42.79달러로 5달러를 벌었네요.

마틴게일의 경우 한쪽 방향으로 맞추면 큰 수익이 나는데, 반대로 움직이기전에 빨리 팔아치워야 합니다. 결국 봇을 돌려놓는 이유가 그닥 없는 셈이죠. 자동수익 얻으려고 하는건데 이 굳이 싶습니다.

다른 봇으로 했으면 좀 나았을까 하는 생각이 듭니다.

그래서 다른 전략을 사용하는 봇으로 한달 간 하나 더 돌려보도록 하겠습니다.

이번엔 ETHUSDT로 선물 5배 롱 포지션을 잡으며 MACD 30분봉 기준 선물 CTA 봇으로 사용해보겠습니다.

총 금액은 42.9달러로 한달전보다 약간 늘어났습니다. 다만 이번에도 롱포지션만 하는 봇이기 때문에 구도상 하방이 나오면 그때그때 수익실현하고 나오도록 하겠습니다.

아마도 적혀있는 사항들을 보면 개인이 직접 사용하면서 가이드 라인을 올린 것 같은데, 개발은 잘 못해도 트레이딩 봇 자체에 관심있으신 분들은 건드려볼만 한 것 같습니다.

RWA(실물자산) 토큰화란?

부동산, 채권, 금, 원자재, 미술품, 주식 같은 현실 세계의 자산(Real World Asset)을 블록체인 네트워크 위에서 토큰(Token) 형태로 디지털화하는 것을 말합니다.

예를 들어, 아파트 한 채를 토큰으로 쪼개면 누구나 소액으로 아파트의 지분을 블록체인에서 사고팔 수 있습니다.

RWA 토큰화 주식의 개념

특정 기업의 실제 주식(Real Stock)을 기초로 하여 블록체인 상에서 이를 반영한 토큰을 발행합니다.

이 토큰은 해당 주식과 1:1로 연동되거나, 주식을 보관해두고 그 권리를 토큰으로 쪼개 투자자에게 분배하는 방식으로 운영됩니다.

쉽게 말하면, 삼성전자 주식을 증권계좌에서 사는 게 아니라, 블록체인 지갑에서 “삼성전자 토큰”을 매수하는 것과 유사합니다.

왜 필요한가?

1. 접근성: 해외 주식도 토큰화되면 국경 제약 없이 누구나 블록체인 지갑만 있으면 소액으로 투자할 수 있습니다.
2. 유동성: 24시간 365일 거래가 가능하기 때문에 기존 주식시장보다 유동성이 높아질 수 있습니다.

What is Binance Futures Trading?

Binance Futures Trading is a type of transaction where you promise to buy or sell a coin at a set price at a specific point in the future, rather than purchasing it at the current price. It allows for larger-scale trades than your actual held funds by utilizing leverage, and you can profit in both bull and bear markets.

Unlike typical spot trading, futures trading allows you to trade in two directions: a Long position (buy) and a Short position (sell). If you expect the coin price to rise, you take a Long position; if you expect it to fall, you take a Short position.

Meaning of Futures Trading

Futures trading is called "Futures" in English. As the English meaning suggests, futures trading is characterized by predicting the price at a specific future time, where you gain a profit if the price at the expiry date is higher than your expected market price, and incur a loss if it is lower.

Many people engage in futures trading because leverage is possible. Leverage is the function that allows you to buy and sell several times more than the amount of money you actually have.

For example, if you have 1,000 USD and 20x leverage is possible, you can purchase 20,000 USD worth. Therefore, it has the advantage that even people with small amounts of money can significantly increase their profits.

Binance Futures Risk Level

While profits can be significantly increased, futures trading also carries considerable risk.

For example, let's say a person with 100 USDT buys the entire Ethereum coin using 20x leverage. Then, they can purchase 2,000 USDT worth of Ethereum.

If Ethereum rises by 5%, the actual profit I get is 5% times 20 = 100%. Conversely, if Ethereum drops by 5%, my actual loss is 100%, meaning I lose all the money I possess.

To start Binance Futures trading, you first need a Binance account. If you already have an account for spot trading, you can start futures trading without a separate sign-up process.

Futures trading is only possible after Identity Verification (KYC) is complete, which generally requires submitting an ID and proof of address documents. The verification process usually takes about 5 minutes, or up to a day at most.

How to Deposit Funds

In korea, Since Binance does not support direct deposit of Korean Won (KRW), you must use the method of purchasing USDT or Bitcoin through a domestic exchange and then sending it to Binance. You can buy coins on a domestic exchange like Upbit or Bithumb and then transfer them to your Binance wallet address.

The deposited funds are stored in the spot wallet, and for futures trading, the funds must be transferred to the futures wallet. This process is handled instantly within Binance.

Creating a Futures Account

When you go to 'Futures' on Binance, you will see a screen like the one above. Immediately click 'Open Now'.

Binance Futures Trading Interface

The Binance Futures trading screen is similar to spot trading but has a few additional features. You can select the coin pair to trade at the top of the screen, and the chart and order book are displayed in the center.

On the right, there is the order entry window, where you can set leverage, select the margin mode, order type, and more. At the bottom, your currently held positions and order history are displayed.

I will explain the interface in more detail in the trading method section.

How to Trade Binance Futures

Select Trading Pair

Select the coin you want to trade on Binance. Beginners should start with major coins with high liquidity and relatively low volatility, such as Bitcoin (BTCUSDT) or Ethereum (ETHUSDT).

Set Leverage

Select the desired multiplier in the leverage settings at the top of the screen. The default is 10x. You can change it to your desired multiplier.

Select Margin Mode

If you are a beginner, select Isolated Margin mode and set the margin amount to be used for that specific trade. It is safe to start with about 5-10% of your total funds.

Cross

It refers to using all the funds in your futures wallet as margin.

Regardless of the amount used for the position, you can protect the position even with a negative return of over $100\%$. It is generally used when the position size itself is very large or for high leverage.

Isolated

This mode automatically liquidates the position if the amount of the position you took reaches -100%. The money in your wallet other than the position itself does not become margin.

Select Order Type

You can choose between Market order and Limit order. A Market order is executed instantly but may incur slippage, while a Limit order allows you to trade at the exact price you want but may not be executed.

There are differences in how orders are placed for each trading method.

What is Binance Margin?

Margin, also called collateral, is the guarantee deposit required before engaging in leverageable trades like Binance futures trading or margin trading.

The margin varies depending on the size of the position, and the larger the position, the larger the margin.

Let's take an example. If you use 5x leverage, the profit is multiplied by 5, but the risk also increases by 5 times. If losses become too large, the possibility of liquidation increases.

If the loss becomes too large, the Binance exchange forces liquidation, and the amount they require you to deposit in advance for this forced liquidation is essentially the margin.

How much coin futures margin is required to maintain a position on the Binance exchange?

The maintenance margin rate on the Binance exchange is 0.4% for Level 1 (1 BTC). Therefore, the maintenance margin amount can be calculated using Start Value times 0.4%.

How to Add Margin to Binance Futures

Note that the Add Margin button is only available in Isolated mode. For Cross mode, if you want to add margin, you can simply transfer additional funds to your futures wallet.

1. When you access the Binance futures trading screen, there is a Position window at the bottom. This section represents the currently remaining margin.

2. To add margin, click the button on the right side of the position.

3. Click the [Add Margin] tab, enter the amount of USDT margin to add, and click the confirmation button to complete the margin addition.

If you add 2500 dollars more, you can confirm that the estimated liquidation price (Est.Liq.Price after increase) has been lowered.

Thus, even in margin trading (Isolated mode), you can survive longer by increasing the margin size without adding more funds in the 'averaging down' sense (similar to Cross mode).

Binance Futures Trading Fee Structure

Trading Fees

The basic fees for Binance futures trading are 0.02% for Maker and 0.04% for Taker. The Maker fee is applied when an order is executed as a Limit order, and the Taker fee is applied when executed as a Market order.

If you hold BNB tokens, you can receive fee discounts, and lower fees are applied as your VIP level increases based on your trading volume.

Funding Fees

In futures trading, a funding fee is incurred every 8 hours. This is a fee to adjust the difference between the futures price and the spot price, and you may either receive it or pay it depending on the direction of your position.

What are Binance Options?

Options are derivative trading products that allow you to achieve large profits with a small amount of money. Binance has launched options in the crypto market (such as Bitcoin) based on the same method used in stock or commodity exchanges (securities firms, etc.). That is, through options trading, you can generate a higher rate of return than futures with less investment capital.

Take this example: a Bitcoin option contract expiring on 2025-10-24.

It roughly rose by double from the low point and then halved again.

Let's consider trading one of these. The premium for buying a Call Option is 1,715 USD.

You are buying 1 contract for 1,715 USD. The maximum loss is limited to the premium amount, 1,715 USD, but the maximum profit depends on how high Bitcoin's price goes.

Currently, the Bitcoin contract price is 109,715, and it is kindly indicated that a profit of 285 USD would occur if Bitcoin rises to 110,000 USD.

What if Bitcoin goes up to 120,000 USD?

A profit of 10,285 USD will be made.

In the case of futures, losses occur as much as the price falls, and profits occur as much as the price rises. However, with options (unless you are selling an option), the loss is predetermined. If you buy even just 1 contract of an option (either a Call or a Put) at a certain strategic point, you can make a large profit.

Binance Futures Trading VS Options Trading Difference

Here are explanations for parts that might be confusing:

First, with futures trading, the loss increases the more the price moves against the position you've taken. It is certain that you will incur a loss the more it moves in the opposite direction.

However, options trading gives you the right to buy (or sell) at that price. So, if the price moves against you and you cannot profit, you can simply say, 'I won't buy that,' and only lose the initial premium amount paid.

In other words, the downside (maximum loss) is fixed.

The disadvantage is that this premium cost is fixed. While futures trading is possible with a very small amount (around 5 USD), options trading is structured per 1 contract, requiring payment of 1,715 USD per contract in the example above.

In expiring futures, there should normally be time value. However, futures traded on crypto exchanges generally do not have an expiration date, so time value does not exist. Conversely, options must have a set expiration date for the trade to be completed. Therefore, time value is added when the option is issued, making the premium price more expensive, but the premium price gets cheaper closer to expiration.

his is why people sometimes buy Zero-Day Options, which expire on the same day. If a major event occurs on the expiration date, a huge profit occurs; if nothing happens, the premium is lost.

How to Trade Binance Options – Binance Options Trading Method

Before proceeding with Binance Options, if you wish to trade, check the maximum fee discount method below for a free maker fee and a 60% taker fee discount.

After signing up, completing identity verification, and depositing funds, go to the Options window as shown below.

Navigate to Binance Options Window

Go to the Options tab under Binance Futures.

This brings up a screen that is quite complex. Options are inherently complicated with terms like "In-the-money" and "Out-of-the-money." Since understanding options can be difficult on Binance, they have prepared a tutorial and an Easy Options mode on the right side.

Clicking the tutorial will show you a video created directly by Binance about options. However, it is in English, so you should keep that in mind.

Options Easy Mode

If you want to try trading using the Easy Mode, click Easy Options on the right.

This brings up a very simple screen, unlike the complex window seen before.

I Think XXX is going… (Select Asset):

This is where you choose the product you want to buy an option for.

Currently, only Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB, Doge, and Ripple are available.

General Prediction (Set Direction)

Decide whether the price will go up or down.

Select Target Date (Set Expiration)

Set the expiration date. You can view weekly, monthly, or longer than a month.

Predicted Price (Set Price)

Set the price directly or select a predefined price.

After setting everything, a screen like the one below appears.

Popularity often means the premium is the cheapest. The author is currently looking at a Put Option (Short) purchase, and since Bitcoin has dropped by 2-3% today, the Put Option premium is more expensive now.

The BTC below value at the top is the price you're trading at, and the Est. Cost below that is the premium value.

Clicking Buy-> brings up the screen below.

If you enter '1' next to Contract, the PnL chart appears below.

Currently, this contract costs 3,845 USD, almost double the Call Option premium.

If the price drops to 100,000 USD, you will earn 7,165 USD, nearly double the premium. If it drops further, additional profit can be made.

Clicking Buy allows you to trade immediately.

The position is automatically liquidated upon expiration, but you can also sell it before then.

선물거래란?

선물거래는 간단하게 말해서 먼저 물건을 거래하는 걸 말합니다.

예를 들어서 콩이나 오렌지, 돼지고기 등은 기상이나 특수한 환경 등의 이유로 가격이 폭락하거나 폭등할 수 있습니다.

이런 이유로 기간을 정해놓고 ‘1년뒤 오늘 이 가격에 돼지고기를 사겠다’ 라는 계약을 하는 것이 선물거래의 시작입니다.

하지만 코인에서는 이런 식의 기간약정이 불필요하기 때문에 선물거래에서는 기한이 없는 무기한으로만 선물거래를 하게 되었습니다.

레버리지란?

이러한 선물거래에서 처음의 레버리지 개념은 빚을 져서 더 많은 거래를 성사하는 것이었습니다.

집을 살 때 대출을 받아서 매수하는 것과 같이 레버리지도 비슷한 개념입니다.

다만 코인 선물거래에서 레버리지는 거래소에서 제공하는 형태이고 대출을 해주지만 빚을 지지는 않는 특수한 형태로 형성하게 되었습니다.

원래 일반 증권사(키움, 미래에셋 등) 등에서 레버리지를 사용해서 선물거래를 하다가 급격한 급등락으로 강제청산(마진콜)을 당할 경우 빚쟁이 신세가 되는 경우도 있지만, 코인 선물에서는 그럴 일이 없습니다. 이 부분은 아래에서 더 자세히 설명하겠습니다.

롱 숏이란?

롱 숏이란 롱포지션 및 숏포지션을 줄여서 말하는 명칭입니다.

롱 포지션은 가격 상승에 베팅하는 것이고, 숏 포지션은 가격 하락에 베팅하는 것입니다.

포지션은 간단하게 말해서 내가 거래하는 위치 같은거라고 생각하시면 됩니다.

그리고 매수 매도라는 단어는 상승 베팅인지 하락 베팅인지 헷갈리게 만들기 때문에 오픈/클로즈 혹은 오픈/청산 이라는 단어를 사용합니다.

청산이 꼭 나쁜 단어가 아니라, 포지션을 끝내는 것을 청산이라고 합니다. 익절이든 손절이든 상관없이 포지션을 닫는다면(클로즈) 청산이라고 합니다.

코인 선물의 장단점

위에서 말씀드렸던 레버리지를 사용하다가 자신의 포지션과 반대 방향으로 급등락할 경우 빚쟁이가 될 수 있다는 말 기억하시나요?

코인 선물의 경우에는 그럴 일이 없습니다. 왜냐하면 코인 선물 거래소는 내가 가지고 있는 포지션의 금액이 -100% 혹은 가지고 있는 돈보다 많아지기 전에 자동으로 청산시키는 시스템을 가지고 있기 때문입니다.

즉 0원은 될 수 있어도 -XX%가 되는 일은 없다는 의미입니다.

그래서 굉장히 트레이더들에게 시스템적으로 유리한 형태를 띄고 있습니다.

다만 역시 단점은 큰 수익을 얻을 수 있는 만큼 더 빠르게 돈이 사라질 수도 있다는 것이겠죠.

업비트 롱 숏 하는 법?

이제 본론입니다. 업비트 롱 숏 하는 법은 2가지로 고려해볼 수 있겠습니다.

업비트 렌딩 기능 사용하기(비추천)

업비트에는 렌딩이라는 기능을 이용해서 롱 / 숏포지션을 구축할 수 있습니다.

다만, 이 방식은 공매도의 형태로 마진거래에 가까우며 빚을 내서 하는 거래 방식입니다.

게다가 수수료가 빌린 금액의 매일 0.03%가 붙고 최대 한도는 3750만원이며 이용기간은 최대 30일로 만기까지 있습니다.

숏 포지션을 고려하고 빌린 만큼 먼저 팔았는데 가격이 상승하면 빌린 금액은 모두 빚이 됩니다. 그러면 담보금이 최대 80%가 사라지겠죠.

만약 이 방법으로 롱포지션을 하고 싶다면 그냥 코인 사서 안팔고 있다가 가격 오르시거나 만기되셨을 때 파시면 됩니다.

다만 수수료가 너무 비싸고, 만기가 있는데다가 한도도 정해졌고 담보금까지 있습니다. 사실상 대출받아서 코인에 넣는 행위와 크게 다르지 않습니다.

해외 거래소 이용하기

숏은 반대로 가격이 떨어질 때 A 가격 이하이면 B 가격으로 체결한다 입니다.

이때 $34000을 Trigger price, $33900을 execute price(실행가격)라고 합니다.

최대 20배로 설정이 가능하고 모든 레버리지율을 똑같이 바꿔줍니다.

격리모드 레버리지 설정

주문창의 왼쪽상단(Cross / Isolated)을 클릭하시면 격리모드로 바꿀 수 있습니다. 롱 포지션과 숏 포지션의 레버리지 설정을 다르게 설정할 수 있게 됩니다.

레버리지를 쓰는 것 자체에 대한 수수료는 따로 없습니다. 마진에서는 이자로 표시됩니다. 다만 선물거래에서 레버리지를 쓰는 만큼 포지션이 커지니 수수료가 비싸지게 됩니다.

예를 들어서 10배 레버리지를 쓰면 내가 100달러를 가지고 있을 때 1000달러 어치 포지션을 거래하는 셈입니다.

선물 수수료율은 지정가 기준 0.02%/ 시장가는 0.04%입니다. 이럴 때 1000달러어치를 거래한다면 왕복기준 최소 0.4달러에서 최대 0.8달러입니다. 매번 거래때마다 500원에서 1000원 수준의 수수료가 부과됩니다.

이게 한번은 그렇게 크지 않지만, 만약 거래액이 1만달러 수준이라면 5천원에서 1만원 수준의 수수료입니다.

그렇기에 거래 수수료를 할인 받는 건 매우 중요한데요. 거래 수수료를 페이백해준다는 업체들은 모두 이상하게도 거래소에서 바로 지급하는 시스템을 갖고 있음에도 사용하지 않고, 본인들의 업체 사이트나 어플을 통해서 환급받는 시스템을 사용합니다.

이는 언제든지 먹튀하고 사이트 문닫아버릴 수 있다는 것을 의미합니다.

What is Binance Stop Loss?

Stop Loss means to stop a loss. In other words, it means to prevent losses by placing a reservation sell order when a specific amount of loss occurs.

If utilized well, a Binance Stop Loss(SL) can also be used for taking profit (TP). Therefore, it is good to learn the method.

Binance Stop Loss Fee

A separate Binance Stop Loss fee is not charged. Therefore, you can consider that only the Market Sell fee is charged.

This is because Stop Loss means that you will sell at the market price when that price is reached, not that you are placing a Limit order.

Because it is a way to prevent larger losses, the risk of the order not being filled due to slippage when placing a Limit order is greater than paying the fee.

How to Set Binance Stop Loss

I will explain the Binance Stop Loss setting based on the PC version.

You can enter the desired settlement price in the Stop Loss window on the right side of the Binance trading screen.

When viewing the price entry window, there are two items: Mark and Last.

Last means the most recently executed price.

Mark means the price set to prevent unnecessary liquidation. It was created to prevent losses when someone manipulates the coin price, causing a sudden change.

You should set the Stop Loss with the idea that 'I will liquidate my position if it drops to this point.'

For example, if you are trading Bitcoin and the current price is 110,000 USD, and you are willing to withstand up to 105,000 USD, you would place a Stop Loss at 105,000 USD.

Take Profit (TP)

TP also means automatic profit confirmation at the market price. The usage method is the same as Stop Loss, and most exchanges use the same method.

Like Stop Loss, you can write the profit amount you desire. If the current Bitcoin price is 110,000 USD, you would set the TP with the thought that 'If it rises to 120,000 USD, I will take profit at that point.'

How to Do Binance Paper Trading
