I will briefly explain the Aster DEX trading methods. Be sure to check out the spot and futures trading methods, the $10\%$ trading fee discount method, and the $5\%$ additional spot discount method.
Aster DEX Usage and Trading Preparation
In the article below, I will explain Aster DEX's wallet connection, deposit, withdrawal methods, the 1001x usage, and its pros and cons. You can check the overall usage methods. If you have not yet connected your wallet or deposited funds, please refer to the link below.
If you have not yet registered a referral on your wallet, you can click 'Redeem invite code' below to get a $10\%$ discount on trading fees. If you use multiple wallets, you must register them individually, even if it is bothersome.

Spot Trading Method
Once all deposits are complete, go to 'Spot'. The funds you will trade with should be in your spot wallet.

It uses the TradingView chart, and you can check your desired trading indicators.

Orders typically consist of the one-click order on the left and the limit order on the right.
The overall trading method is largely the same as that of general CEX exchanges (Binance, Bitget, Gate, etc.).
If you currently do not have funds, 'Transfer' will appear on the BUY screen. You can specify the size in BTC or USDT.
However, very few coins are listed for spot trading. Since Aster is primarily used for futures, spot trading is limited. If you want to create or buy/sell meme coins or micro-cap coins, please try Gate DEX. A $50\%$ trading fee cashback is possible there.
5% Additional Spot Discount Method

If you hold Aster/USDT and click the button located on the bottom right of the order book, you will receive an additional $5\%$ trading fee discount, separate from the referral discount.
Futures Trading Method

You can click 'Perpetual' for futures trading. While there are no stock-linked coins in spot, there are in futures. For futures, coins allow up to 100x leverage, and stocks allow up to 10x leverage. For your information, Hyperliquid, currently the leading DEX exchange for futures trading, only allows up to 40x, so Aster is certainly better in this regard.
The trading method is the same as the CEX exchanges you used previously. Aster also supports Multi-Asset Mode, Hedge Mode, and others. Please refer to the link for the setup method.
The one-click order and limit order methods are the same. If you do not have funds, it will be displayed as a 'Deposit' button.
However, if you personally want to significantly reduce your trading fees, I recommend Gate DEX futures trading, which offers a 50% cashback and VIP fee benefits.
Aster Trading Fee Structure
Aster's spot and futures trading fees are a base of 0.05% for Limit (Maker) and 0.4% for Market (Taker). Spot fees are relatively cheap, but futures fees are not particularly low. Please refer to the article below for VIP benefits and more detailed fee information.
